With a natural athleticism, powerful jump and strong aerial presence, Carlton’s young ruck Tom De Koning will look to continue to develop as one of the league’s most promising rucks in 2024. 

Now with 60 games under his belt, De Koning shouldered more off the Blues’ ruck load in 2023 fast-tracking his development against many of the competition’s best rucks. 

Rotating between forward and the ruck position, the 23-year-old can hit the scoreboard and is looking to back up a strong finals campaign through his versatility and determination.
