Adam Cerra proved himself to be a vital part of the Carlton midfield in 2023, playing his second season in Navy Blue under Michael Voss.

Making his way to IKON Park in the 2022 trade period after 76 games with Fremantle, Cerra returned to his home state of Victoria to continue his football career.

Surrounded by the likes of Patrick Cripps, Sam Walsh, George Hewett and Matt Kennedy, Cerra’s classy style of play compliments his teammates well.
Cerra produced a breakout season in 2023, leading the John Nicholls Medal count until he suffered a hamstring injury in Round 20.

On track for a career-best season in 2023, the clean midfielder unfortunately suffered a setback in Round 20 after injuring his hamstring in the Blues’ win against Collingwood. Luckily, the Blues would regain Cerra’s midfield class as they returned to finals for the first time since 2013.

Now with over 100 games under his belt, Cerra is a key on-field leader and a well-respected member of the team.
