The dream came true for Ben Camporeale in November 2024, when he was recruited as a father-son selection to Carlton.
Camporeale honed his craft at Glenelg in South Australia as well as with the Carlton Academy, alongside his twin brother and fellow Blues recruit Lucas.
Selected with pick No.43 in the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft, a gentleman’s agreement with his brother saw Ben given the Navy Blue No.16 jumper which was worn with esteem by dad Scott for 233 games from 1995-2005.
Ben is a hard-at-it inside midfielder who relishes the contested side of the game.
