CARLTON has made two changes to its team for Sunday’s clash with Collingwood.

For the first time since Round 15 last year, Jordan Boyd will run out in the Navy Blue, named for his first game after two bouts of foot surgery.

The classy rebounder was improving with each game in his debut 2022 season before an untimely foot fracture: however, the 24-year-old will return in front of a packed MCG on Sunday afternoon.

Ed Curnow also returns to the starting line-up after he was sub last weekend.

Curnow takes the place of George Hewett in the team, who has been named as an emergency: Hewett is confirmed to be the starting sub for Sunday’s game.

Alex Cincotta (omitted) is the other change to the team: he joins Tom De Koning and Zac Fisher as the other emergencies.

It’ll be Marc Pittonet’s 50th career game, while wingmen Blake Acres and Ollie Hollands will feature as Blues against the Pies for the first time.

In the VFL, Caleb Marchbank has been named for his first game of the season after overcoming a calf injury. The clash with Williamstown will be shown live on Channel 7 immediately before the big game between the old enemies on Sunday.
