SEVEN marks. Seven goals. Seven votes.

Explosive forward Charlie Curnow has notched his first lot of AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award votes for 2019, following a career-best haul against the Western Bulldogs.

Curnow was the only Blue to collect votes for his performance in the three-point defeat to the Bulldogs, trailing only Josh Dunkley (10 votes) while matching Jack Macrae (seven votes).

The youngster finished the Blues clear best, with a heroic performance inside 50 seeing him finish with a personal-best career-high seven goals from his 17 disposals.

The dominant performance was the best of Curnow’s season to date, with his last month marking a return to form following an injury-interrupted start to 2019.
