Boyhood Bluebagger Harry O’Farrell will become the latest AFL debutant for Carlton this Saturday against GWS.

Becoming Carlton player No.1247, O’Farrell is a key defender from the Calder Cannons who will become the Blues’ fourth AFL debutant of the season so far.

Impressing for the Carlton Reserves so far in 2025, O’Farrell - originally from Maribyrnong Park - has showcased his intercept marking capabilities for the VFL Blues, averaging 6.3 marks per game as well as over 13 disposals.

O’Farrell’s best moment came when he produced the winning goal for the Blues against the Cats, while he was named in the best players on the weekend for a strong showing against Sydney.

Lining up alongside locker buddy Jacob Weitering for the first time this Saturday, it’ll be a memorable moment for O’Farrell when he pulls on his boyhood jumper for the first time.
