CARLTON has confirmed four changes for its Round 13 clash with arch rival Essendon.

Calling on experience for the King’s Birthday Eve contest, the Blues have officially welcomed back Jack Silvagni and Zac Williams, after the duo got through main training to confirm their returns for this Sunday night.

Joining the duo are Alex Cincotta and Orazio Fantasia, with the mature pairing to play their first games for the season after recent returns for the Carlton Reserves.

Fantasia adds some class in the front half for the Blues alongside Williams, with it also being his first game for the Blues against the side where his career began back in 2014.

It'll also be Cincotta’s first senior outing following off-season hip surgery could see him play a number of roles, with the defender adding different strings to his bow in recent seasons. He kicked a goal on return against Sydney for the Carlton Reserves three weeks ago before having 19 disposals and nine tackles against Williamstown prior to the bye.

Cincotta and Fantasia are joined on the bench by Matthew Carroll, Jesse Motlop and Will White, with the Blues to name their sub an hour before the bounce.

Jaxon Binns and Corey Durdin have been omitted, alongside tall duo Harry O’Farrell and Lewis Young. Binns and Durdin are emergencies, alongside young ruck/forward Hudson O'Keeffe.
