The Carlton Football Club will proudly take part in the AFL's Cultural Heritage Series this week, celebrating and recognising the many cultures that make up the Carlton family ahead of Saturday’s clash against North Melbourne.

Launched by the AFL earlier this year, the Cultural Heritage Series looks to celebrate and promote the various cultures that makeup Australian rules football, showcasing how football can unite people and foster belonging, on and off the field.

Carlton has always existed as a welcoming club for diverse communities, and this week is the perfect opportunity to pay homage to that integral part of the Club’s rich history.

Match day at the MCG this Saturday will feature more than just football. Out on the concourse, the sea of Navy Blue will take over Yarra Park, with Bluebaggers are encouraged to head to Gate 3 where you will be met with an incredible selection of cultural cuisines, including a D.O.C Pizza and a variety of other food trucks.

The vibrant and inclusive atmosphere is the perfect place for all Bluebaggers to come together and connect with other Carlton faithful, through a shared love of food and football.

Acknowledgements of the many cultures that make up our club will continue in-stadium, as we celebrate the diverse backgrounds of our players and community.
