CARLTON has announced its newest debutant for Saturday's match against the Western Bulldogs.
Maddison Torpey is confirmed to make her debut in this week's Round 4 match at IKON Park against the Bulldogs.
Torpey signed on at Carlton only a week before the 2025 AFLW pre-season officially commenced as an inactive replacement player.
She previously captained the Sandringham Dragons in the Coates League where she then continued playing for the Sandringham Zebra's VFLW team, and most recently commenced the current VFLW season with the Box Hill Hawks.
The 182cm ruck is known to possess strong aerial ability, seen throughout her junior career being apart of elite pathways, and has now earned her spot on the Blues.
Torpey's most impressive traits include her competitive spirit and elite professionalism. She was named in this year's Victorian State Team which was another stepping stone to allow her to reach her goals in the AFLW.
Come Saturday, Torpey will be making her AFL debut at IKON Park to face the Bulldogs.
Carlton will announce the team selection at 6:20pm (AEST) on Thursday.
