THE CARLTON Reserves have made six changes to the team to take on Geelong today, with five AFL-listed players back in the fold.
In a top-four VFL clash, the Blues will look to make a return to winning form after their five-match streak came to an end last week.
There’s currently no tougher test in the VFL than taking on the Cats, who have a 7-1 record after eight games.
The Blues have welcomed back plenty of experience into the VFL fold, with Adam Saad and Zac Williams both named for Carlton.
Cooper Lord will also return following a concussion, with Wade Derksen to take on a key position role after his omission from the AFL side.
Flynn Riley will play his first game as an AFL-listed player, with the mid-season draftee to play his first VFL game since Round 6.
Rounding out the inclusions is youngster Taj Logan.
Riley will partner Hudson O’Keeffe in the ruck, with Liam Reidy (ankle) to miss through injury.
Cody Walker’s month-long stint with the VFL side has come to an end leading into the under-18 championships in June, while Will Cookson, Tom Evans, Dane Harvey and the injured Jaiden Magor round out the changes.
The VFL game kicks off from 12:05pm from IKON Park and will be broadcast live on ABC, as well as the AFL website and app.
