CARLTON has named three potential inclusions for the King’s Birthday Eve clash with Essendon.

On the back of three straight victories, the Blues have named no outs at this stage ahead of Sunday’s game, with an extended squad named leading into Round 13.

The three inclusions into the extended squad of 26 are Wade Derksen, Cooper Lord and Zac Williams.

In-form defender Lachie Cowan will play his 50th game in Navy Blue, with the boyhood Bluebagger debuting for the Blues back in Round 1 of the 2023 season against Richmond.

Sunday’s clash will be the 256th time Carlton has taken on arch rival Essendon, while marking the fourth consecutive year that the two sides will go head-to-head on King’s Birthday Eve.

Carlton will confirm its team of 23 on Friday evening at 5pm.
