Alison Watkins - Group Managing Director, Coca-Cola Amatil:

Alison Watkins presented at the Carlton IN Business Grand Final Luncheon proudly presented by Hyundai and Helloworld Business Travel on 28 September 2017 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Watkins joined Coca-Cola Amatil as Group Managing Director in March 2014. Watkins is a non-executive director of The Centre for Independent Studies and the Business Council of Australia.

Watkins previous roles include Chief Executive Officer of agribusiness GrainCorp Limited and of Berri Limited, the market leader in Australian juice, and Managing Director of Regional Banking at ANZ. Watkins spent 10 years at McKinsey & Company from 1989-1999 and became a partner of the Firm in 1996 before moving to ANZ as Group General Manager Strategy. Watkins has been a non-executive director of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Woolworths Limited and Just Group Limited. She is a former Victorian President and National Board Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. 

Watkins holds a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Tasmania), is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and the AICD.

John Gillam - Chairman Bunnings Group:

John Gillam presented at the first Carlton IN Business Luncheon, held on 31 March 2017.

Gillam was CEO of the Bunnings business from 2004 to the end of 2016 and is now Chairman of Bunnings Group Council

Bunnings is the leading retailer of home improvement and outdoor living products in Australia and New Zealand and a major supplier to project builders, commercial tradespeople and the housing industry.

In 2016 Bunnings expanded into the UK with the acquisition of the Homebase business as a platform to open Bunnings stores throughout the UK and Ireland.
