CARLTON completed its draft haul on Friday, welcoming three new Blues to Ikon Park.

The seven-week wait was over at 10am, when Jack Martin officially became a Carlton player in the pre-season draft.

Martin will bring the class and smarts he displayed in his 97 games to Royal Parade, whether that is up forward, in the middle or across half back.

He adds to the ever-exciting West Australian contingent at the Club, joining Patrick Cripps, Zac Fisher, Mitch McGovern and Sam Petrevski-Seton.

Not long after Martin realised his Navy Blue dream, he was joined by two new teammates via the rookie draft.

Exciting youngsters Josh Honey and Fraser Phillips were selected by the Blues, adding to the talent taken in the NAB AFL Draft.

Both are emerging forwards, with Honey capable of playing in the midfield. The hallmarks of his game are his athleticism and ability to hurt the opposition with his disposal.

Joining him was Phillips, who ended the year as Gippsland’s leading goalkicker.

Clearly possessing an eye for goal, Phillips has X-factor and upside in abundance and is consistent with his forward pressure.

Over the course of the draft period which began on Wednesday, Carlton has now added six players to own the future in 2020. It comes after recruiting Eddie Betts, Jack Newnes and Marc Pittonet in the Telstra Trade Period.
