THE VFL competition will resume this weekend after COVID restrictions were lifted in the state of Victoria.

In Round 16, the Carlton Reserves will take on Sandringham at Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Saturday at 12pm (AEST).

Unfortunately, no crowds will be permitted to attend the game, but streaming options will be released closer to the day.

While we are uncertain of what will happen after this week, the Blues can focus on taking on the Zebras, who are still fighting to land a top-eight spot.

Having lost their last two games, Carlton will be looking to make a statement in their VFL return after not featuring in the competition since 3 July.

For more information on the game, head to the game-day hub.

The team will announced on Friday at 12pm.
