THE CARLTON Football Club is delighted to sign Jess Good as a free agent.

Arriving at IKON Park from Sturt Football Club in the SANFL and standing at 185 centimetres tall, Good is set to bolster the Blues’ line-up as a mature age ruck, supporting inaugural Game Changer Breann Moody.

A former professional basketballer, the 26-year-old is no stranger to elite sport – or to her new Navy Blue teammate Kerryn Harrington, having played alongside the skipper on the hard court in South Australia.

Carlton GM of Women’s Football Brett Munro said Good was a welcome addition to the Game Changers.

“We’re really pleased to welcome Jess to our football club,” Munro said.

“Having played basketball at an elite level, Jess is a committed team player who will no doubt bring a wealth of experience to our group.

“She is a natural athlete with a strong competitive streak and we’re really confident she will be an exciting prospect for our club. We can’t wait to see her in action in the Navy Blue.”

Good’s signing comes just two days after the Club welcomed its youngest crop of Game Changers, with Annie Lee, Keeley Sherar, Brooke Vickers and Imogen Milford calling Carlton home at Tuesday night’s 2021 NAB AFLW Draft.
