THE CARLTON Reserves will have a new look side this week, with two VFL debuts and a host of AFL-listed players taking the field.

Mitch McGovern will return to the fold after an extended stint on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, while Lachie Fogarty will play his first VFL game for the Blues.

Zavier Maher will make his debut for the Reserves - after being a late out against Coburg - along with defender Alex Cincotta, who will play his first game for the Blues this weekend.

It's a significant personal milestone for the former Geelong Falcon, who has spent over a year out of the game due to a knee injury.

There'll be a familiar face in Navy Blue in the form of Andrew Phillips, with the former Carlton ruckman to feature for the VFL side on Saturday.

With Essendon relocating to Queensland in recent weeks, Phillips - who recently celebrated the birth of son Ned - remained in Victoria. Available for selection and in need of playing time, the AFL ticked off on Phillips featuring for the Blues this week.

Sam Ramsay, Luke Parks, Brodie Kemp, Marc Murphy, Matt Cottrell, Corey Durdin, Sam Petrevski-Seton and Jack Carroll round out the AFL-listed players named to take on Sandringham, with one of Cottrell, Kemp, Murphy or Petrevski-Seton coming out to be the medical sub in the AFL game.
