Coming into the AFL system following an ACL injury, Kemp had to wait almost two years for his Carlton debut, before enjoying his first Navy Blue win in the middle of the 2022 campaign.
Always highly regarded for his versatility and athleticism, Kemp broke through into the Carlton side as a defender, but was swung forward late in 2024 out of necessity where he proved his wares as a marking forward.
Kemp chalked up 50 AFL games in Opening Round against Sydney, kicking the opening goal of the 2026 season in the process.
