Gillon McLachlan - Chief Executive Officer, Australian Football League:
Gillon McLachlan will be presenting at the Carlton IN Business Grand Final Luncheon proudly presented by Virgin Australia and CUA on 27 September 2018 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Initially joining the AFL in 2000 as a consultant in strategic planning, McLachlan was then appointed General Manager of Commercial Operations in November, 2003.
He subsequently assumed additional responsibilities for broadcasting and major projects in 2006, before being appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2008 with a portfolio consisting of AFL broadcasting, digital media, fixturing, venue agreements and stadia infrastructure.
In December 2012, he transitioned into the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer; a position he held until his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2014 to – succeeding Andrew Demetriou.
His key contributions have included, the last AFL Media Rights Deal – still the largest in Australian Sports Rights History – the creation of AFL Media, and the establishment of the Gold Coast Suns and the GWS Giants.
McLachlan has a Bachelor of Laws from Melbourne University, a Bachelor of Commerce from Adelaide University and has completed the Senior Executive Program at Stanford University.
Melanie Gleeson – Founder, Endota Spa:

Melanie Gleeson co-founded Endota Spa with Belinda Fraser more than a decade ago in 2000. Since opening their first franchise on the Mornington Peninsula, their business has now dramatically expanded to include 102 spas across Australia.
Gleeson works closely with the Indigenous community and recently commissioned a number of Aboriginal women from ‘Fitzroy Crossing’ in the Northern Territory to create artwork for the brand’s cosmetic packaging.
Richard Murray – Group Chief Executive Officer, JB Hi-Fi:

Richard is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in retail and finance. Murray joined JB Hi-Fi as CFO in 2003 and took the business through the IPO process. Prior to this, he was an Associate Director in the Corporate Finance Group of Deloitte.
Murray was appointed to the Board of JB Hi-Fi in June 2012 and became CEO on 1 July 2014. He is currently Chairman of the Australian Charities Fund Employee Leadership Initiative, which aims to encourage Australian businesses to set up Workplace Giving Programs.
To date, JB Hi-Fi’s workplace giving program, Helping Hands, has 70% staff participation and has raised over $10m for its charity partners.
Helen Kurincic – Chair, Integral Diagnostics:

Helen Kurincic is currently the Chair of ASX-listed Integral Diagnostics Limited – a diagnostic imaging company which recently successfully defended a takeover bid by Chaired Capitol Health.
In addition to this, Kurincic is a non-executive Director of Estia Health Limited and Chairs their Risk Committee, as well as a non-executive Director of Sirtex Limited and a senior advisor in the health care sector for various large funds and organisations.
Luke Sayers - Chief Executive Officer, PwC Australia:

In addition, Sayers has long-term commitments to community organisations and external Boards. He is on the Board of the Carlton Football Club and chairs the Melbourne Chapter of the Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) as well as not-for-profit organisation e.motion21.
He is a member of Monash University's Industry Council of Advisors (MICA), the Human Rights Commission Leadership Council for Cultural Diversity, and the Victorian Branch of the Male Champions of Change.
The Hon Scott Morrison MP - Prime Minister of Australia:

As the Federal Member for Cook, Scott Morrison has been a passionate advocate for his local community and has made significant contributions throughout his three senior ministerial portfolios, throughout his ten years in the Australian parliament.
During his time as Treasurer more than 500,000 jobs have also been created in the Australian economy with unemployment falling by 0.5 per cent.
Morrison has been a senior member of the Liberal Party and has served on the Expenditure Review, National Security, Energy and Infrastructure Committees of Cabinet.
