GET READY to welcome some new Game Changers.

After so much success at the draft in recent seasons, Carlton is readying itself to go again ahead of next Tuesday’s 2021 NAB AFL Women’s Draft.

Following a busy trade period, the Blues have five picks inside the overall top 40, with two coming inside the first round and a further two in the second.

The Blues will have access to some of the best young talent in Victoria, with their first four picks falling inside the top 16 of the Victorian pool.

With back-to-back selections (Nos.6 and 7) in the Victorian pool inside the first round, the Blues will look to add to the bevy of elite young talent which it has brought into the Club in recent seasons.

Welcoming Mimi Hill to the Club last season, the exciting midfielder joined fellow first-round picks Grace Egan, Georgia Gee, Lucy McEvoy and Madison Prespakis at IKON Park: all of whom have had a big parts to play in the side’s fortunes since becoming Blues.

Determined by the amount of vacancies on the Club’s list, Carlton will be able to make up to five selections on draft night.

The 2021 NAB AFL Women’s Draft will take place on Tuesday 27 July, with the event to be streamed live on womens.afl from 6:45pm AEST.
