Overview:

Despite spending the opening two rounds of 2021 on the sidelines, Lucy McEvoy finished strongly in her second season in Navy Blue.

Making her first appearance of 2021 in Round 3 against St Kilda - the first win of the year for the Blues - McEvoy slotted back into the midfield seamlessly after a standout first year in 2020.

A consistent ball-winner over her seven appearances in season 5.0, it's no surprise that Carlton's best wins of 2021 were hallmarked by strong performances from McEvoy.

Best performance:

McEvoy was one of many Blues to bring their best against Geelong in Round 6, with the 33-point win in front of Bluebaggers at Ikon Park a highlight of their 2021 campaign.

McEvoy finished among Carlton's best for the afternoon, notching 19 disposals for the afternoon and laying four tackles to keep the Cats on the back foot.

Season highlight:

It may have take her until Round 4, but McEvoy's first goal of season 2021 certainly was a memorable one.

Facing the Tigers during Carlton's fifth annual Carlton Respects game, it was the opposition who had the upper hand as the game heated up early.

The crafty snap from McEvoy kicked off a much needed scoring flurry that saw the Blues close a 16-point quarter time deficit and go on to seal the win at home.
